HydraVise

Most "tree jaws" have one simple problem: they are designed with pivoting jaws. This means that the larger the item you're clamping, the farther away from your machine the item will be. This is exactly the opposite of what you want. Obviously, the bigger the item is, the closer it should be to your machine, for maximum lifting capacity. The HydraVise was designed to allow you to have any clamped item as close to your machine as possible.

Key Elements:

  • All American steel - no foreign product of questionable quality.

  • MADE IN THE USA!

  • The edges of the jaw components are chamfered for super strong welds.

  • The jaw slides are finished with greasable nylatron bushings.

  • Jaw rails are bolted rather than welded for serviceability.

  • 4" cylinders deliver a crushing 37,000 pounds of force to the jaws.

  • Jaws open to a full 20 inches, and close to zero.

  • Jaw faces are 9 1/2 inches tall and 15 inches deep.

  • 12" cylinders allow the jaws to close off-center, so your machine isn't forced to be perfectly centered.

  • The machined crosshatch on jaw faces provides superior bite, and is virtually indestructible.

Applications:

  • Pulling small trees, roots and all. Most people shear trees in a pasture. If you're clearing ground that will be tilled, roots and stumps are unacceptable.

  • Removing fence posts.

  • Setting poles for pole barns.

Dimensions & Weight:

  • 85" wide

  • 23" high

  • 1,400 pounds total weight
